It’s been a little while since updating the blog. So here it is. We’ve been hard at work and we’ve completed a lot more. And we’ve updated the GALLERY to reflect just some of what we’ve accomplished. We have interviewed a number of amazing scholars in folklore, children’s literature, and history. We’ve interviewed more artists and musicians. And we’ve interviewed R.L. Stine.
Plans are underway to accomplish a number of other interviews this summer, as well as there is just a ton of editing going on.
I have gotten a lot of questions regarding when this Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark film will be complete. I still have to be a little vague with the answer. We’ve completed maybe 70-80% of planned filming and we should probably be close to 100% by the fall of 2016. This is all on a budget well under what would be ideal. But there are definitely more funds needed for post-production. There is no getting around that. I’m working on various ways to raise that money. I’m pushing hard to see if we can have it available for festivals in early 2017 and available to people who helped fund us by that time.
So we’ll see. In the meantime, please enjoy the new photos!
